9. HOW IS TUITION PAID, AND ARE THERE ANY FAMILY DISCOUNTS?

Some schools require each family member to pay FULL fees. We believe that families should be encouraged to train together so we offer generous discounts to families. Some schools require a large downpayment, or even payment in full in some cases for an entire year! At our school, students may pay each month as they train. Many schools restrict the amount of training you may attend each week to as few as two lessons, and charge extra fees if you want to attend more classes. They claim it is to prevent burnout, but really it is to allow them to pack more students into each week. We are more interested in our students actually learning something! Therefore, we offer unlimited classes to every student for one low fee! It really doesn't cost any more to go FIRST CLASS!

10. DO CHILDREN AND ADULTS TRAIN IN THE SAME CLASSES?

This is really important! No professional school combines adult students with children. The adults will be bored in a children's class, and children will be intimidated and overwhelmed in an adult class. Methods used in teaching adult students simply are not practical or effective with younger students. After all, we don't put elementary age students in the same class as college students, why would you do so in martial arts? It is only done to benefit the school, not the student. Besides, if the material being taught really is simple enough that a 7 year old can effectively do it as well as a 30 year old, that can't be much to it.
